A welcoming reception.
Having a blood pressure machine in the waiting area is very useful for patients and doctors. It also saves time for everyone.
Medical staff explain things well.
All reception staff were friendly and helpful as were the medical staff. The place appeared to be efficient and well managed.
I noticed a little dust in a corner but other than that the place was very clean.
I was also seen on time.
The surgery is well managed from the reception to the pharmacy - it's a real team effort to give exceptional care in our district!
My husband needs compression stockings for bad varicose veins. The stockings are extremely uncomfortable and we asked at pharmacy if men's compression tights were available. We were told not on prescription. We said we were happy to pay for them but were told your pharmacy did not supply them. After enquiringly at Lloyds Pharmacy the pharmacist was able to measure my husband and provide the requested men's compression tights.

I arrived at the surgery with a deep gash in my arm and asked to see a Nurse as I thought it needed dressing by somebody who knew what they were doing. I was prepared to wait a long time as I had no appointment, but the Receptionist immediately gave me an appointment with Nurse Annie for half an hour's time. Nurse Annie actually saw me earlier than that and said she needed to get a doctor to deal with it. Dr Warrilow did what was necessary and I was given prescriptions for the appropriate antibiotics and painkillers. It was all dealt with very quickly and efficiently and I felt very confident that I was in good hands. The whole experience was very reassuring and I feel I had received a first class service from all concerned.
